Matchday 5 of the Champions League is in the books with Leicester, Arsenal and City moving on to the last 16. The Spurs were eliminated and can now direct their efforts to the Premier League.

There has been a lot of talk over the International break in regard to the status of some of the elite players’ health. I do not know whether any of them will be rested this weekend, but Sanchez played 84 minutes and scored 2 goals and Hazard played 73 minutes before limping off. Costa appears to have been kept out of play with a groin pull. I imagine that you will have to monitor the Friday pressers to see what the manager’s take will be on their starting XI’s. The International break felt like a mini vacation. Only 4 games in MLS to contend with during this period, so this gave me time to play fantasy “Daily 11’s” and “Predictor” with the European Qualifiers.
